Recently Monica began writing a bi-weekly Business column in the "Life in the City" publication. As part of that column, she's constantly looking for new ideas and input from others in general, and  business owners and  entrepreneurs specifically.  The whole concept of entrepreneurship is a fascinating aspect of business and an area of much debate and research.  Still, some intriguing questions arise.  Questions like...

bulletWhy do some of the poorest students in schools make the most successful business people?  (Bill Gates dropped out of Harvard Business school claiming they could teach him nothing.)
bulletWhy do some of the most successful companies become successful by breaking all the rules of conventional wisdom?  (Prior to McDonalds, no serious restaurant would have even considered preparing their food in an assembly-line fashion)
bulletHow can we predict which people, companies, or ideas will be successful and which ones won't?  (Who would have picked the pet rock?)

Periodically, the business column in "Life in the City" ®  will discuss certain issues and pose questions.  We value your input.  Feel free to tell us what you think and we will post your responses.  This is an area where we want YOUR opinion.  If you have something to say and would feel more comfortable contacting Monica directly, feel free to do so here.

The questions and topics for discussion are...
